Welcome! I am the lead instructor. My background includes over 23 combined years' of private security, legal investigations, education, and law enforcement. On March 29, 2022, I qualified as an Expert Witness on private investigation standards at the Office of Administrative Hearings (California Dept. of General Services). Since 2010, I have been authoring and publishing my own books; many are sold on Amazon and have great reviews! Other than having subject matter expertise in private security and private investigation standards, my employment with a former private college and current employment with a regional police academy allows me the opportunity to transform difficult subject matter, into easy-to-understand information. Private Patrol Operator: Management and Leadership Development


In this 40-hour online course, you will learn how to open and operate a private security company in California. We will explore the Business and Professions Code, the Labor Code, the Civil Code, the Vehicle Code, and private security industry standards. The course will also prepare qualified manager applicants to pass the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Qualified Manager Examination.
